Parish Pentecost Picnic

One of the celebratory events sponsored and facilitated by the Parish Fellowship Ministry is the annual Parish Picnic, held on a Sunday in May close to Pentecost.

In recent years St. Mary’s has obtained use of the wonderful facilities at Saluda Shoals Park, where the water park and open spaces for volleyball have been appealing to the Youth.

Hot dogs and hamburgers are provided and prepared by Parish Fellowship, supplemented by pot-luck salads, side dishes, beverages, and desserts. Many families take advantage of the occasion to enjoy a family outing at the park itself.

It is a wonderful way to wrap up a program year—and to start making plans for the summer and fall at St. Mary’s.
