Child's Play

The Child's Play program began as a cooperative ministry for the nurturing of mothers with young children in the congregation, patterned after a “mother’s morning out” experience. The ladies themselves take responsibility for scheduling the activities, and by combining resources they are able to provide socialization for the children—and themselves—as well as allowing some individuals time to do other things on a regular basis.

It has been a rather loosely organized service, adapting to the needs of the mothers involved. Hopefully it will continue to grow, as the opportunity for personal time as well as fellowship has become a blessing to its participants.
