Shepherd's Center

A national movement for folks past "a certain age" (fifty-plus), the Shepherd's Centers are centers of activities, classes, and trips. The Center for our area is located nearby and is currently headed by a St. Mary's member.

Classes are offered in a wide range of areas, including history, travel, literature, crafts, and pop culture. Many of the classes are intensely inter-active, utilizing the life experiences of the participants.

Other activities include bridge and other card and board games, luncheons, guest speakers, visits to historical sites—anything which might interest and stimulate its very lively members. Guests are welcome, and brochures and companions are available at St. Mary's.
