Flower Ministry

Since not all members of the Altar Guild are equally experienced or gifted in flower arranging, a group within the Altar Guild has become a very important part of the beauty and impact of our worship experience.

The members of this Flower Ministry are responsible for purchasing, preparing, arranging, preserving, and distributing the altar flowers, creating a beautiful backdrop for our worship and then sending out these arrangements as the gift of St. Mary’s to the sick and needy of our community.

In a sense, it is a re-enactment every Sunday of the “flowering of the cross” tradition of Easter, and a wonderful ministry to all of us.
