Cursillo

St. Mary’s has long been a supporter of Cursillo, a movement within the Episcopal Church whose purpose is to help those in the church understand their individual callings to be Christian leaders.

This leadership may be exercised in work situations, in the family and social life, in leisure activities, as well as within the Church environment (more information can be found at the Upper South Carolina Diocesan Cursillo web site).

Many of our members and staff members have participated in Cursillo weekends, both as candidates and as staff members. If you are interested in such an opportunity for spiritual growth into service, talk to a member who is involved with the Cursillo movement and can share his or her personal experience in enthusiastic Christianity.
