What Is An Episcopalian?

The national website says that "The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome. Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful [dialogue] about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ."

Our Church pursues these questions by utilizing the three sources of revelation given to mankind by God: Holy Scripture, tradition established by the saints of the past, and our own God-given reason. We believe that through this process and through prayer the Church can be led by God to answers sufficient for our time, but that there is seldom a single answer or point of view for all time except for the reality of Christ.

As travelers on the road to Emmaus, we encounter the Christ through our journey, not through our arrival.
But the best way to learn about the Episcopal Church is to become a part of it. Join us as we travel, and we pray that He will join us once again!
